YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

You lead and grow a high-performing engineering team, coaching frontend, backend, and AI engineers to foster ownership, collaboration and excellence
You own the technical direction of distributed service architecture, guiding the team toward scalable, reliable and observable systems
You drive AI-powered software engineering to translate prototypes into reliable, safe and measurable agentic solutions
You guarantee seamless end-to-end consistency across the customer experience
You align stakeholders across divisions and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth and scalable delivery

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

Experience You bring proven experience in software engineering leadership managing complex architectures and production systems on AWS
Know-how You have strong expertise in distributed system design, APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures and cloud-native delivery
Skills You are proficient in Java backend software engineering and familiar with AI and agentic coding
