Head of Engineering (all genders)

• Define backend architecture standards, hosting strategies, and binding technical directions across all agency projects
• Oversee the design and operation of mission-critical eCom flows
• Product/stock synchronization and complex order delegation logic
• Connecting 3rd-party ERP, CDP, CRM, and Payment/Fraud providers
• Custom carrier and warehouse management system (WMS) integrations
• Own technical recruitment and mentor Lead Developers and DevOps Engineers to elevate technical decision-making and career growth
• Standardize CI/CD pipelines and define workflows for AI-supported development to maximize team velocity
• Act as the strategic link to SCAYLE CORE teams, utilizing agency insights to influence the global platform roadmap

• Expert-level PHP (Laravel) experience building complex backend systems and integrations
• Strong architectural mindset with experience designing scalable commerce and enterprise integration solutions
• Hands-on AWS expertise (EC2, ECS/EKS, SQS, Kafka) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience leading senior engineers and driving technical decisions in delivery-focused teams
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
