YOUR ROLE AS REGIONAL IT TEAM LEAD (DACH)
As Regional IT Team Lead, you are responsible for ensuring the stability, quality, and compliance of IT operations and projects across the DACH region, while contributing to operational IT excellence across the entire Odyssey portfolio. You combine hands‑on technical expertise with leadership, acting as a senior escalation point and ensuring IT systems effectively support hotel operations, brand standards, and the guest experience. The role has a strong tactical project focus, primarily delivering operational enhancements, system migrations, and compliance‑driven initiatives aligned with business and brand requirements.
In this position, you report directly to the Head of IT and are responsible for managing a DACH‑focused IT Coordinator, providing direction, oversight, and coaching to ensure consistent execution and alignment with group IT standards.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Take full ownership of IT operations and service quality across the DACH region
Act as senior escalation point for complex incidents and operational risks across the portfolio
Lead by example through hands-on involvement in daily IT operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure changes
Support hotel openings, conversions, and on-site technical implementations
Execute and oversee IT projects in DACH, ensuring alignment with group standards, budgets, and timelines
Manage, coach, and develop the IT Coordinator in the region
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
Maintain and optimize core infrastructure including Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, servers, hypervisors, and networking
Coordinate with vendors, hotel teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless IT service delivery
Contribute to group-wide IT operations, continuity, and resilience beyond the DACH region
