We're looking for a **Senior Go Backend Developer** to join their engineering team in **Hamburg (hybrid working model)**. This is an English-speaking environment with colleagues from around the world, and **relocation support is available** for candidates moving to Germany. ## Tasks * Building and scaling high-performance Go services * Processing and analysing millions of real-time events daily * Designing distributed systems using Kafka and event-driven architectures * Developing APIs and data platforms used by external partners * Optimising database performance across large-scale datasets * Contributing to cloud-native, microservices-based infrastructure ## Requirements * 5+ years of software development experience * 3+ years of commercial Go development * Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices * Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies * Solid database optimisation skills (MySQL, Druid, or similar) * Experience operating services at significant scale ## Benefits * Hybrid working model in Hamburg * English-speaking international team * Relocation support provided * Competitive salary up to **€90,000**, depending on experience * Opportunity to work on systems serving hundreds of millions of users worldwide
