Senior Tax Manager (all genders)

• Independent management and review of VAT returns and Intrastat declarations for domestic and international entities
• Comprehensive assessment of complex (international) tax issues and strategic advice to functional departments regarding projects and new business models
• Active tax guidance and co-design in the harmonization of our SAP tax processes in alignment with the parent company's guidelines
• Reliable tax reporting and close, solution-oriented collaboration with internal cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, IT, Business Units)
• Professional point of contact for tax authorities, auditors, and external tax advisors both domestically and abroad

• Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics, or related fields with a focus on taxation/finance; Certified Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) or a comparable qualification is desirable
• At least 7 years of relevant tax experience—preferably within a tax consulting/auditing firm or an international corporate environment
• Proven, deep expertise in national and international VAT law
• Experience with ERP systems (hands-on SAP experience is desirable) as well as a strong enthusiasm for process optimization, digitalization, and the standardization of workflows within corporate structures
• Strong hands-on mindset, a proactive drive for improvement, and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels, along with business-fluent written and spoken German and English
