Working Student - Technical Visualization/ Illustration & Learning Materials (m/w/d) - REF93769B
For our Central Process Engineering Tire Building Team at our location Hanover-Stöcken, we are looking for a working student (m/f/diverse) starting as soon as possible. The position comes with a working time of 20 hours per week and we are looking for long-term student support for about 12-24 months. (Your enrollment should at least last for another 12 months.)
Your main responsibilities will include creating technical drawings, visualizing machine- and process information, and developing modern training materials.
You will be involved in the following areas:
- Technical Visualization & Documentation
- Creation of technical illustrations, graphics, process sketches, and flow diagrams
- Translation of complex topics into clear and easy-to-understand visuals (e.g. machine functions, process flows)
- Maintenance and updating of existing documentation (e.g. process descriptions, training slides)
- Training Material Development
- Design of modern training materials
- Structuring and standardization of learning content
- Support in the development of Technical Learning Modules, including visuals, explanatory texts, and checklists
- Content Support for Global Projects
- Support in document creation for projects and training programs
- Collection, structuring, and visual preparation of best practices, lessons learned, and process comparisons
- Creation of templates, layouts, and diagrams
- Communication
- Creation of promotional and communication materials for global projects
- Preparation of information for communication purposes
- Visual simplification of complex content
- Enrolled student (m/f/diverse) in Technical Communication, Media Technology, Industrial Design, or a comparable field with at least 12 months of enrollment remaining (mandatory)
- Strong practical experience in technical illustration and the creation of technical drawings (essential requirement)
- Solid technical understanding of machines, processes, or industrial workflows
- Basic knowledge of training & learning concepts in an industrial production environment
- Good experience with graphic tools (e.g. Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma, Power BI visuals), ideally applied in a technical illustration context
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint (Power BI is a plus)
- Proficient German or English language skills, both written and spoken
- Structured way of working and a strong eye for detail, especially in creating precise visual representations
- Ability to translate complex technical content into clear, accurate, and easy-to-understand visuals
- Creativity in design and visualization combined with a high level of technical accuracy
- Team-oriented mindset and reliable communication skills
