We are looking for an experienced Data Center Technician to support day-to-day operations. In this role, you will be responsible for physical IT infrastructure tasks, Hands & Feet support, and operational reliability of server, network, and storage systems.
## Tasks
* Rack, stack, cable, label, and decommission servers, network, and storage equipment
* Replace and install hardware components (structured IMAC/R activities)
* Patch and manage copper and fiber cabling
* Support troubleshooting of hardware, power, and connectivity issues
* Network management and DC infratructure monitoring
* Documentation in ticketing and asset management systems
* Escort vendors and comply with data center security and access procedures
* Automation and scripting
* Participate in on-call duty or shift work
## Requirements
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in a data center or comparable IT infrastructure environment
* Solid understanding of server hardware, network devices and cabling
* Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira, OTRS or similar)
* Ability to follow runbooks, SOPs, and change procedures precisely
* High attention to detail, reliability, and documentation discipline
* Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
* German drivers license advantageous
